The classic Model 27 (pre-1982 version) is my favorite revolver. I think the 5" barrel is the most handsome.

I have to disagree about the 5" being the most handsome.

The 3.5" wins that title although the 5" is the most practical.

I'll vote for the 5" as being the "favorite" but I'd like to have a 3.5" pre-M27.

Actually the 5" barrel is my favorite for any N-frame, no matter the caliber.

Just because they wield a bit quicker for me,,,
But I must admit that for pure aesthetics,,,
Those 5" barrel models sure are pretty.

I'm a K-Frame .38 special man myself,,,
But I might just have to get me a Model 27 some day.

They are very good looking handguns,,,
I would wear it to the bi-monthly Range Barbecue Cookouts.
