I finally got my Mini-14 and have a question for the membership on barrel break in. Is break in as important for a Mini-14 as it is for other rifles? I have always broken in a new rifle with a series of clean/shoot/clean/shoot, etc. I find this especially important to keep a tack driver driving tacks. I know I shouldn't shoot 100 rounds and then clean, but what do you other members suggest as a break in routine?
