MINATURE ROSSI. 22.

Just got on trade a rossi 22. it is in a fitted display case and is a miniture nickel plated revolver (looks like a S.W )gun is in like new cond. what is the story on this model also how much is it worth....I gave $100 for it, btw the case has a old look about it....any info would be appreciated..

Back before the GCA of 1968 Rossi had a copy of an S&W Ladysmith revolver on the market. The original S&W Ladysmith was made on an M frame (much smaller frame than the I or J frame S&W). I don't remember whether or not the Rossi was a six or seven shot. They are quite small. I still have a fitted case (my Aunt owned one) for a Rossi .22 just like you are describing. However, I cannot help you on the approximate date of manufacture of the Rossi. You might check a firearms identification guide like the "Standard Reference of Firearms Identification" for information.
