Millett DMS for .308?

Hi!

Does the Millett DMS-1 1-4x24 take the recoil of a rifle chambered in .308?
I am asking because:

1. The scope is extremely inexpensive
2. Millett has a good reputation and they say it takes recoil up to the .375 H&H
3. It was mainly designed for the AR-plattform in .223 which has very little recoil.

I would put it on my .308 rifle until I can afford a better scope.

I have one and I think it is a quality optic for the money. I think it would work just fine on a .308.

Hmm, hope it will. The ''made in china'' sign at the bottom of the scope does not strengthen my conficence into the scope.
