That's surprising to say the least. Of course that got me interested because I have seen the Military Heritage Page but I always just thought they were wall hangers. I looked around that fellas channel. Seems he owns a bunch of those India made guns and shoots them regularly.

They sell them with the touch hole not drilled and sell them as wall hangers to get around India's gun laws.

Oh, well its the cheapest Charleville (or any other model) I've seen ever. They have 1795 Springfields in stock right now. Tempting. But I gotta save my pennies for a Kbler. I can't stray from the path like I always do.

You won't regret the Kibler. I agonized over spending the money because I suck at working wood. I can't speak for the Colonial or SMR but other than sanding there's virtually no woodworking on the Woodsrunner. My patchbox lid needed a little fitting but it wasn't anything my meager skills couldn't handle. I was having a hard time draw filing the barrel but I discovered the tool marks could be sanded out. My file marks were deeper than the tool marks so I saved time by sanding. My big fear now is filing the parting lines out of the brass trigger guard. The trigger guard is the only brass that's cast. The rest is CNC machined.

There are all the stories about musket picked up from Civil War battlefields that had been loaded more than once, the record is 23 from Gettysburg. You wonder how many were fired and...
