I made some highly supportive statements about my 4" .357 titanium Tracker (Taurus) in another thread the other day. I've had very good experiences with my other Taurus products. But, perhaps I spoke too soon about this one.
Yesterday, while cleaning I noticed what appear to be small radial cracks coming from several of the chamber walls in the cylinder. After discussing it with my local gunsmith we both agreed this one needs to go back to Taurus for inspection, refurbishing, replacement or refund. I would HIGHLY suggest that any of you who currently use a titanium model inspect this area closely. I can only imagine the results of a catastrophic failure in this area.
