There are actually some pro-gun bills being introduced this session (which means that they probably won't pass) such as HB 185 - Handgun Shell Casing Requirements - Repeal and HB 33 - Income Tax - Credit for a Gun Safe.

A public hearing will be held on the legislation on Thursday, February 15 at

PM at the County Council Office Building, 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville.

Ms Harrison said that the pro- gun side still has 10 speaking slots while the
anti gun side has a waiting list

If what i heard on friday is correct about the total number of speakers being

dZ, as of Feb 5th at 4:37 p.m. There is a waiting list to speak at the Mongomery County Meeting (I am on it). This is an attack on the 1st ammendment not just the 2nd and should not be tolerated. I have my speech ready to go if given a chance.

now we have to fix the ret of the State.

I heard last week that only 150 casings are entered in the State Police database
That means only 150 new handguns have been sold in the whole state since October 2000!
The rest of the sales are old pre October stock

MD is suffering from a legislated sales ban because the manufactures are not providing casings.
