marlin 60 at wal-mart

I read that wal-mart sells a model of ruger 10 22 that it sells no where else. Is a marlin 60 sold at wal-mart the same as any other marlin 60?

I am concerned that wal-mart pushes its suppliers to cut costs so much and I want a good 22.

The model of 10/22 they sell is the 22" barreled rifle version.

The Model 60s are the same. UPC and everything. WM gets their guns from wholesalers, not direct from the company.

I bought my 10/22 carbine from Wal-Mart and seems the same as every other 10/22 I've handled. I wouldn't worry about the purchase.
