Anybody seen the Marlin 1895SBL in any stores or shops yet?

Last I heard, they were due in June. Haven't seen a distributor list them as available yet.

thats pretty nice looking... except for that awefull looking scope mount in black on top... I added a Wild West Guns big loop lever to my stainless guide gun, & am pretty happy with that ( with the walnut stocks ) after they are out while, maybe I can order the full length magzine... but the SBL looks like it was designed for just what I was wanting out of my guide gun... I bet they sell well

They say they are going to be scarce with the remington changes. FWIW
I got one after the 2010 shotshow and must have got lucky because my dealer put in the order and I got it when they were first offered. They can be found but it is hard to find a deal. You might try the marlinownersforum or leverguns. Both good forums with "guns for sale" section.

Sooo, that thing has a 6 round tube and it's an 18.5" barrel so thier tube will go on a Guide Gun?

Yes. You need to cut A new dovetail in the barrel to attach it.
