Marlin 1894CSS

If I understand Marlin's nomenclature correctly, this would be a non-ported, stainless, .357/.38 model 1894 lever gun. I want one, and they aren't making it--not in stainless, which I prefer. Does anyone have any idea whether they plan to expand their stainless line from just the 30-30 and the .44mag they're making now? I swear, the day I see this carbine is the day I buy it; I just don't know when or if it'll ever happen! Woe is me!

Be patient. I'm sure if they successfully market their current SS guns, more will follow. I have a stainless 336 and am very pleased with it. I also have one of the earlier Rossi .357s in stainless - also very nice. It's a bummer to wait for something you just "know" they oughtta produce if they would smell the coffee. I'm waiting for Ruger to produce a Bird's Head .357 Sheriff's Model, blue OR stainless....sigh.
