Making ammo with matchhead powder

Hmmm . . small pistol primers .03 to .04 each . . . a powder charge of Bulls Eye or similar for a 38 spl. .02 . . . .

But, I guess if you're in to "do it yourself projects"? :D

Kind of reminds me of old Teddy Kaczynski. I wonder if he was pardoned lately without any ones knowledge. He had a way with timber matches that change the industry of match making for ever. The bum. _:mad:

You can use the compound from matches, wet them, scrape them off and then put them into empty caps and allow them to dry there. I know a cheap fellow who reloaded primers to see if they would work. They did. If the flame is hot enough, it should work for caps too.

i would agree with Gary about the caps . i have seen it done . but i think for powder it would be much easier just to make BP and use it
