MagPul M-Lok fitment problem on 590A1

MAG588-BLK M-LOK Cantilever Rail Light Mount (aluminum) on a Mossberg 590A1 with factory Magpul stock & foregrip.

My issue with the M-Lok's plate (in the above referenced item), are too big for the Magpul foregrip M-Lock 'slots.' They simply don't fit.

Should I grind the plates, or just return it?

Yep, they have changed the design and were clearing out the older models for cheap on some websites. So are you gonna be able to modify the old model to fit?
