So, after years of swearing up and down than a 230 gr FMJ was all I needed in .45, I made the switch to start carrying Hornady Critical Defense loads as part of my EDC.
Previously I had stuck with Remington-UMC FMJs and thought I was good.
However, as pointed out rather snippily by a friend of mine, it was was sorta insepid that I insisted on the Lady-Friend carrying Hyrda-Shocks in her 9mm while I stuck with regualr ball ammo.
