M&P9 v M&P9 Pro

Who here has shot both, unimpressed with the 9 but wowed by the 9 Pro?

IMHO ... the Pro has an awesome trigger, seems better balanced and better sights.

I can definitely stay on target better and easier than with a XDm9 Comp.

The 9 was just sorta plain when pitted against similar platforms.

Both were great pistols, but the Pro was surprising.

Anyone else or does my right hand need recalibrating?

I have both and have shot both quite a bit. The 5" 9mm Pro is a great gun as it comes in the box. it's accurate and has a nice trigger. The full sized 9mm I have is my favorite gun. I did have a trigger job done my Dan Burwell. I shoot it much better than the Pro.

They are utterly reliable. I have over 5,000 rds thru the full sized gun and almost 5,000 rds thru the Pro and zero hiccups at all.

I have both models, and train with both. I find that I prefer the sight radius on the longer Pro model over the 4.25"; however, that extra bit of length seems somewhat more cumbersome when carrying IWB than does the standard 4.25". Overall, I still prefer the 5" length of the Pro.
