Lyman Bag Jack

I saw these on Amazon searching for a rifle scope. I shoot mostly off a Uncle Bud's Bull bag at the range and it is never the right height. Have to prop it up with 2x2 or 2x4's. According to specs my bag would be about 6 inches too long but it is when I put lumber under it. Does anyone have one of these. Looks pretty dandy. Only bad reviews was hard to crank up and down. I can live with that.

When I get serious about shooting from the bench, I use a variety of bags to get just the right position. These include shot bags at different fill levels and blue jean leg bags that can be laid flat or bunched to raised the height. The bags are more stable than using boards.

Use laurence shot bags off of ebay and rice burlap bags from india with handles,,like them under rear stock ,just squeeze them to hold on target

I have an re-purposed recoil pad.

Standard Cabella Cordrua green bag filled with plastic pellets.

Ditto rear bag.

Depending on the bench and how I get the target set I may or may not need to run things up or down.

The pad can go under either support as needed.
