Love This Gun

A family member of mine has one and is the best little plinker I have ever fired. Never seen one for sale, but will buy one someday. Easy to load, easy to fire, easy to clean. Dead on accurate and doesn't care what ammo you put in in.
Anyone else have experience with this pistol?

I bought one a number of months ago at a gun show (first one I'd ever seen), and since then my local dealer has two in stock, both for around $390. Very nice pistol.

I also recently bought an old S&W 422 and a Whitney Wolverine. All three of these .22's are a blast to shoot and quite accurate. Lots of fun...

They were the tail end of the "Woodsman" family. The orignal refered to as a pre-woodsman but called the "Colt Automatic Pistol 22lr" was the brain child of J.M. Browning. The colsest thing made today is a "Browning Buck Mark" but it is no clone. The model you have here is not as collectable as others yet but it is a Magic Horse and you can't go wrong with that.

when they first came out .i baught a combo kit.. had a 4" barrel and a 6" barrel. also had a scope mount wich i had an aimpoint on. i never did like the gun.. you would think with the bull barrels it would be more acurate.. but my stock non target buckmark could outshoot it any day of the week.. finaly sold or traded it. dont remember witch..
