I'm not sure if this thread belongs in the general handgun forum or the revolver forum, so moderators please move as appropriate.

Is anyone here familiar with the barrel insert system produced by Lothar Walther for revolvers? I haven't found much information at all about them. This is their website:

This is the page about the inserts in which I am interested:

I emailed the company, but haven't received a response yet. regardless, I'd like a second opinion. My questions are as follows:

1) Do they function reliably?

2) Do they work in both single and double action revolvers?

3) Are they suitably accurate for plinking, hunting, practice, etc.?

4) Do they require Loctite or some similar adhesive to hold them in place, or are they easily inserted and removed as needed?

5) Are they available within the United States or for shipping to the United States?

6) How much do they cost in American dollars?

Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.
