Looking to Clone the MKVII 303 British Round

Looking for a decent combination of a flat based 174 gr bullet and powder to duplicate the MK VII British round.

I have IMR 4895 but I am open to anything right now. The bullet I am using is the Hornady Interlock 174 gr 312 diameter.

Unfortunately I don't know of anyone making a 174 grain flat base spitzer. The Hornady round nose is as close as anything in that weight. IMR 4895 is probably fine. Figure to work up to about 40 grains with the round nose seated to the crimp cannelure, but less if the nose shape makes you seat it deeper for your rifle's throat?

I recall Hatcher wrote of working with powder between the wars that he said was similar to modern IMR 4320. Figure to work up to about 41 grains of IMR 4320, if you decide to go to that?
