Looking for load data for .30 cal Sabot loads

I have the sabots, they are red plastic thingys that take .223/224 bullets. I'm looking to stuff 50 or 55gr SP/HP bullets in them and load them into .308 and 30-06 cases. Load data from my source was 'sketchey' and I'm trying to work up some loads for varmint shooting.
Anyone have any suggestions as to powders and powder charges
for starting loads in these calibers?

Oh yea, brass will be GI Match in both cases.

Homemade Remington Accelerator rounds, eh? I still have (and am hoarding) a box of each .308 and .30-06 factory Remington loads. I just don't see them around any more. Did they pull them off the market?

Anyway, if you find a source for the sabots, let us all know, eh?

there was a company in Utah, don't know if they're still around

called J&D Components, i think

sold sabots, loading tools and provided load data

last i saw they were selling 22/30 sabots, but that was several years ago

.30 Cal. Sabots

I bought several hundred of these sabots at a gunstore a couple of years ago. I have not got around to using them yet but they came with starting loads for many different .30 caliber rounds. Someday I will try them in my .308 but am probably going to use the majority in my .30-30. I will e-mail a copy of the loads to anybody who wants one.
