Looking for bridge for old Lyman peep sight

I've been cleaning up and familiarizing myself with my Dad's Mauser action 270. Receiver is Fabrique Nationale 1948, made in Belgium. Very few markings other than "B.G. Wadsworth" on the magazine plate, and I can't find any reference to him anywhere. The rifle has a Lyman "Alaskan" scope on a Jaeger mount. It was still virtually dialed in after decades of storage!

Anyway, it has a Lyman sight body for a peep sight, but instead of the bridge there's a sight blank installed. The stock had to be cut out a bit to allow for the sight body, so I'm guessing that the bridge was removed when the scope was installed. The body is labelled "48M", and Lyman tells me it's obsolete.

Here's a pic of the modern version to give you a general idea:

My new mission at gun shows is to find the necessary parts, but I'd sure appreciate it if anyone out there has a suggestion on where I might find them.
