I have 3, you will like them. I have 2 'original' disc's (orange) & 1 'extreme' (red). Either are fine & I don't feel the need to convert the 2 older ones. I shoot loose powder, a little more pyrodex to go then I will use 777 loose powder. Right now I am about 90-95grns pyrodex under a home cast 240 grn 44 cal bullet, which I load in a plastic sabot. It went through the doe I bagged in Dec. Except for the cleaning the rifle is almost like shooting a centerfire when the ranges are reasonable. My shots are usually around 50 yrds. On the eve of any day where I shoot a BP gun I always give it a cleaning.
