Looking at a couple of pistols, opinions wanted..

I've been getting the itch for a new firearm, and lately my tastes have been running towards more 'seasoned' firearms. My last purchase was a S&W 24-3.

Anywho, I have been looking at the Colt 1903 .380/.32 and the FN Model 1910. WHile I can purchase both, I was looking to get only one for now.

Which would be a better place to start?

Thanks for all opinions.

If you can only buy one, then get the 1903 Colt. It is truly a classic pistol and you will never be sorry. I have a Type 1 Colt and it is a pleasure to shoot. It will handle any kind of factory ammo as well as my handloads, which is what I use mostly. It is a very rugged design and also fairly accurate. The .32 ACP is a low pressure cartridge and the cases can be reloaded many times. Last but not least, remember that this was the pistol that Humphrey Bogart used in his movies. What more need I say?
