Look for a range find. Any ideas?

Im thinking about buying a range finder. I dont want to sell my left arm to buy it but I would like it to range over 1000 yards. I have my eye on a newcon optiks LRM 1800s so I would like it to compare to it or even better then it. Cause I do like the specs and what they say it can do but I cant find to many reviews on them. I can find to many people that own them too, so thats why Im looking for suggestion. And if you own a LRM 1800s please do let me know how well it works and how you like it.
