I guess I'm just negative, but...

All the real war heroes I have ever known would never consider advertising their heroics. Most won't even talk about it... my father and my uncle were like that. Any time I see somebody that goes around bragging, I wonder if they are legit.

I once asked a guy that was on the Bataan Death March to tell me about it. I was 14 at the time and all he would say was "Hell Boy, I just tried to stay alive."

Yep, these guys were the real heroes. JMHO
