Lewistown, Montana Area Varmint Hunting?

Hi all, gonna be in the Lewistown, Montana area this summer for business and would like to go try varmint hunting... Prairie Dogs, Rockchucks?

Anyone know any good guides in the area?

Any recommendations appreciated...

Currently we are still (June 3rd) in the grip of winter. Lewistown is flooding. The runoff has not even begun. The snow-tel sight at Spur Park says there is still 77 inches. I just saw snow mobiles headed for the Little Belt Mountains today.


Lots of sod rats (gophers) to shoot (.223 is economical & comical!), but you can't get into the field. If you can wait 'till we dry out you will fare better.
