It seems as if everything goes full circle. Lever guns are really popular again. I am thinking back to a used Browning 30-06 I saw at a show once. It was like picking up a '57 Pontiac Axle. I wonder how many of THOSE lever actions were sold. I remember seeing a .348 rifle that was not a Winchester, but Browning does not seem right either. Any ideas?

Browning (actually Miroku for Browning) made reproduction variants of the Winchester Model 71 lever-action rifle from 1986-87, chambered in .348 Winchester. I still see them occasionally at gun shows and, though pricey, they are selling considerably cheaper than what Model 71s are going for now. Winchester recently reintroduced the Model 71 in their catalog but I'm guessing that it is also an Asian repo.

.

Besides the Miroku-made Model 71's for Browning & Winchester (these last few years), Chiappa (Italy) has also been making Model 71 (and Model 1886/86's also) clones for a few years now.

Pedersoli is also currently making a model 71/1886 that really looks nice. It is currently sold through Cabelas and Taylor's.

From prone with a bipod and ammo carrier cheek rest, my Ruger #1 7mmRemMag fires so fast it sounds like a machine gun.
And it gets them in the kill zone at 500yards

Pic above same as link below

Isn't a falling block with a lever a single shot lever action?
Are not most lever actions falling block repeaters?

I have a few Browning lever actions.

Model 71 in .348 Winchester, the Browning is the top one, Winchester is below it.

The fit, finish and accuracy is top notch on the Miroku made Browning's.
