Let's rank the antis' desire for a high ammo tax with other issues...

Frankly, a decent heap of ammo has been stored for retirement next year.

It would seem that a really high punishment tariff/tax on ammo mut be a low priority, in terms of public support, on a national level.

Or is this issue being introduced primarily by certain state representatives within their own states, i.e. Califonia?
Were this to have a fair chance of being passed on a national level---exploiting the next mass murder --it might be smart to buy a few more cases at current prices.

I’m not a legal expert, but I wonder if anything even needs to be “passed”. For instance could the Department of Health and Human Services implement an ammo fee to help fund Trauma Centers and could this be done under some currently existing authority.
