Let's ban California

That would solve the problem. BG's would have a place to congregate, and places like Vermont or Texas would be safer.

However, some of our best TFL friends are in CA. Tell you what, let's just ban them to the General Discussion forum instead...

hehehehehehe! Now thaaaaaat's an idea. We could give the TFLers in Kali amnesty or political asylum. Why not just nuke the fault and sink it into the ocean? :D

...but no license required for concealed carry (and passing on the 'double-yellow' is allowed!)

Gay people need guns, too (I think).

Am I the only ol fart on this board who remember's being gay once meant being light hearted and happy? Now the dictionary says: joyous and lively, bright, homosexual. Oh well, like Weshoot2 said...gay people need guns too. And if you live in Kalifornicate, it's getting tougher and tougher to legally own them. Screw California and its Hollywood liberal mind set. Klintone loves Hollywood and all its joyous and lively, bright wonderful people, his kind of people...phoney baloney shallow kind, that's the kind you can kick back and really relate to.

As a native Kalifornian (and still residing here), I don't mind having this communist state secede from the Union. That way the rest of the nation won't be influenced by its radical legislation and senators (Feinswine & Boxer). If such is the price of liberty, I'll support it for the sake of the Union. Huzzah!

I personally favor the "Lex Luther" solution to the Kalifornia problem. Anyone remember "Superman"??? ;)

How about just banning politicians in/from California? Ban Hollywood?

How about this: Ship all of the socialists in the US to China, Cuba, Russia, South Africa, and the Western European countries (face it, they are not much better) and that would make some room for good freedom loving people to immigrate here. Unfortunatly, they want to polute new lands rather than those they have already raped.

Oh well, its nice to dream.

WARNING: Beginning decades ago, it was common knowledge that residence in Granola-land would lower your IQ by one point per year of residence.

Watching TV and reading the news, it is obvious that "one point per year" was entirely too charitable!

GET OUT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! (Before you lose the ability to read a map, or understand that it's really okay to be elsewhere.)

I'm a home grown from California. I think if we are wishing for something to happen here, how about immigrating here instead of leaving. Then we can vote out the bad, keep the good and shoot, hunt, fish and generally have a great time from the mountains to the ocean. Hell, it would only take a few million supporters moving in to do this. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but California is home to about half a million NRA members. Besides if you nuke California, you all would have to put up with lots of fallout. MWT

Thanks Mal, for remembering that a lot of us loyal TFLers hail from Cali.... :)

Direct your anger where it belongs, not on all of us! And not all of us are in the position to just up and leave, although I am hoping to do that within the year. Believe me, I understand and share the concerns. It just gets tiresome getting slammed over and over again for being from Cali.

MrBlonde...I grew up in Pasadena and Arcadia, my parents are still there...howdy neighbor! ;)

You are not realy being knocked for being from Kali but for the attude that too many of bring with you.Moveing to different state because you dislike what Kali is and then try to change everything to what it was where you where at is not the smartest thing in the world.
Leave the attudes in Kali and try to live the life style of the place you move to will take most of the problems away. You will take some crape because of the one that will not do this but you will get acepted in a short time.
All it takes is a little common sense and giveing other people the right to live their own lives.People get sick fast of being called rednecks-trailer trash-inbred cowboys and what have you.You will get back what you give.
Flame away.

I grew up in the San Joaquin valley, my wife grew up in the bay area. We both miss a lot of the nice things about the state. But it really is good to not be surrounded by so many idiots, we still have lots of idiots, but they tend not to be as liberal. For all of you Californian TFLers there is plenty of room here in the intermountain west. The south was nice also, but a little too humid.

If Horace Greally were alive today and living in California...he would probably say: Go East young man, go East...but don't stop in Utah. Pretty state but full of wonderkind.

Hey guys, I'm a native Californian originally from La Crescenta (above Glendale) and now of Redondo Beach. The politics of this great state is demographically challenged (is that PC or what?). We in L.A. have some schools where within the student body more than 60 differently languages can be isolated. Admittedly, Spanish and Jive (aka Ebonics) are the most prominent...oh yeah, English too. The state is balkanizing at a rapid rate. Far from being a "melting pot," it is more akin to a colloid solution. As soon as Rampart blew up, the gangbangers came out of the woodwork like cockroaches to renew their rather unique form of terror, coward violence, the "Drive By" in the world of the "Drive Through." Blaming guns and ammo here for the significant level of anti-social behavior has grown from a cottage industry into a corporation. Big bucks, big backing, and bull ****. Some of us are working hard to get the pendulum to swing back, but it takes reaching out to our neighbors who are unlike some of us in culture or language. It's a "learning experience" we can all "grow" from, right? Have a nice day.
