Any one have a ballpark figure on value, dollar wise. It is an early gun from the 70's no frills used but not abused. One rifled and one smoothbore barrels. Thanks for any assistance.

Leonard Day Swivel Breech

I realize this is an old thread, but you got no answers. I just purchased a .54 swivel breech with plain walnut stocks, as new and unfired, for $1,300 and I think it was a steal. My estimate, since Mr. Day is going to retire and turn the business over to his sons, is that his guns will gain considerable value in the coming years. I think my rifle would conservatively be valued at $1,800-2,000 if offered in the right market. Hope this helps, albeit a few years late!:)
