Leonard Day Swivel Breech
I realize this is an old thread, but you got no answers. I just purchased a .54 swivel breech with plain walnut stocks, as new and unfired, for $1,300 and I think it was a steal. My estimate, since Mr. Day is going to retire and turn the business over to his sons, is that his guns will gain considerable value in the coming years. I think my rifle would conservatively be valued at $1,800-2,000 if offered in the right market. Hope this helps, albeit a few years late!
