Lefty Upgrades for DPMS LR-308

This should be fairly straight forward. I'm looking to put some lefty/ambidextrous upgrades on my DPMS LR-308. So the question:

Are LR-308s parts compatible with AR-15s as far as the safety and magazine release are concerned? One specific part I have in mind is the Troy Ambidextrous Magazine Release.

They should work fine on the LR series,but I wouldn't ever spend $65 for a mag release button.
I also shoot LH,and have never had any problems operating any functions of my AR 10/15 style platforms.
