Lee Loadmaster Primers

Good news. Those modifications Lee made to the primer feeders for the Loadmaster WORK. Easy to spot, they are RED. The small primers are BLACK. I have not tried the small model yet. I was SO frustrated with the Loadmaster I converted to Dillon. Now;-- maybe I will give the Loadmaster another "opportunity". It does make completed rounds pretty quick and I am not using the case or bullet feeders.

I agree the new versions are leaps and bounds above the older models of the primer feedc but I've started to encounter some major issues with the newer models. The primers are somehow getting caught in between the seating stem and the shellplate. Since the upgrade, I have had fewer issues over all but I've lost about 40 primers (out of about 500 or so) to crushing and a couple of those have detonated. When the primer slips in this manner it gives just about the same resistance as a good seat.

Regardless, I can't wait till I've saved enough the new cool aid(probably blue)
