lead bullets vs moly coated lead

anyone else heard that you increase your powder weight when replicating a lead bullet load using moly coated bullets?

That's for jacketed bullets. Lead bullets are already lower on resistance getting into and sliding down the barrel. In jacketed rifle bullets moly reduces start pressure enough that the powder doesn't get started burning quite so readily, with the result that typical high power rifle loads lose around 50 fps. You have to add a little more powder to make that back up.

Is the rainer coated bullet the same as lead. I have a hard time getting a 180gr rainer to eject correctly in my 945 even with a weaker spring.
