But it would be a problem with a Glock right?

(Not to sidetrack the thread, but I am considering the both the XD and Glock in a .45ACP)

I lent my buddy a box of 200gr LSWC's that I loaded for my 1911 and it choked on 2/3 of them. Maybe my 1911 likes a different OAL, or his XD doesn't like LSWC's? ( I load plenty long. Same OAL as WWB 230gr ball and they work well in my 1911)

I've used reloaded lead bullets in both of my XDs and they don't descriminate. They spit out whatever it gets fed...

Take note that the lead bullets I used were of good quality and they were assured they weren't too soft.

But it would be a problem with a Glock right?

It's contested that lead bullets shouldn't be used in polygonal barrels. Some have claimed no problems, but I wouldn't personally recommend it.

If you have a few bucks extra and still want the Glock, there are quality aftermarket rifled barrels for Glocks that are a drop in replacement at decent prices.

to the Glock

Yes, lead bullets may create safety issues IF YOU DON'T CLEAN YOUR BORE.
Regularly, with a more intense schedule of cleaning.
