Who makes large frame 45 colt single actions similar to the Ruger Blackhawk and old vaquero?

I assume Freeom Arms
I think EAA's bounty hunter is (can someone confirm)

I don't know of any current models.

You could haunt the secondary market for the Virginian Dragoon, the Abilene, and Seville.

Is Freedom Arms a large frame? I thought they were a medium-frame SAA, with ridiculously strong steel in the frame and cylinder.

The FA 83 is a great big gun.
The FA 97 is only a little bigger than a SAA and is a fiveshooter in .44 and .45.

Can anyone confirm if the EAA bounty hunter is large frame capable of hot loads?

Well, they have made the Bounty Hunter in .44 Magnum.
So if the .45 is the same size and material, it should stand up to "hot loads" for at least some value of "hot."
