L1A1 w/ wire stock???

Yesterday, I saw an L1A1 with a wire retractable stock (works the same as the MP5 retractable stock). Is this rifle anything special? In other words, should I run back to the shop and pick it up?

I didn't check the price. :(

Never heard of a telescopic stock on a FAL.

The "para" version had a skeletonized folding stock, but it wasn't wire and it didn't telescope.

I'ld take a closer look at it. Seems to be an aftermarket Mod. I cant find anything on a retractable stock.
Should you run back and pick it up?
Yeah - its an FAL/L1A1 rifle - Thats reason enough alone. :)

I second the others. If possible, could you post a picture of it? It sounds very intriguing.
Wonder if it uses a para trunion with wire stock-holding loops welded on or a standard cutdown buttstock with wire loops welded on or...?

Sorry, I can't get a pic right now. :( The stock looks like the adjustable (M231) wire stock for the AR15, but it is bent a little differently in the back. The finish matches the rest of the rifle exactly like it is a factory part, but I guess it's not.

That's the best description I can give.
