Kydex for a Kimber

I'm looking for a kydex holster which extends to the end of the muzzle for a Kimber .45 with a 3" barrel? I can only find kydex holsters which partially cover the slide leaving the sight vulnerable to getting whacked.

Any suggestions?

Were you looking at a hybrid style hip holster, or more of a scabbard style single clip unit?

If you like hybrid style, Ultimate Holsters has a leather lined Kydex setup that looks like it covers the muzzle.

Well wouldn't you know it...I didn't mention that I'm looking for a OWB holster

Sorry, I don't use kydex OWB, so I cant give you any personal recommendations. I wish I could have been more help. \

Look up JM Custom. http://www.jmcustomkydex.com/ I have an OWB for my G21 and like it very much. Keeps the gun tucked tight and the owner is very easy to work with. Not cheap but worth it.

Did you look at the FOBUS standard paddle? I have a 3" Kimber Ultra Carry II that I carry in a FOBUS KM3 (pretty sure on the number). It covers the end of the barrel.
