some of you might know me from the IDPA list I am an IDPA master (4 guns) and I make Kydex holsters. (Talon Tactical) if anyone has questions on holsters or Kydex I'll try to help you.

I'm a member of GlockTalk and have heard a LOT of guys talking about their SideArmor brand Kydex holsters and they ALL say they are the BEST ! http://www.sidearmor.net/
How do yours (where can I see them) compare..price..function..warranty..etc..?

my holsters are made from .125" kydex not the .080 or .093" material
and are molded to an actual handgun.
Prices are $45. for most autos and $50 for most revolvers
I make about 10-15 each week and I don't know of anyone who has used one of my holsters that has ever gone to another brand.
I know most of the other kydex holster makers and they are all good people and I like and own some of their holsters.
So I don't know how to answer you but if you decide to try one of my holsters I think you will like it a lot

Do you use rivets or screws for your holsters?
Also, do you make any lefties? I've a Glock 30 and a Kimber that I need holsters for, and I'm always looking for a different maker to check out....

Mike IS a lefty, so I can't imagine that he's going to neglect his fellow southpaws. It has been a few years since our paths last crossed, but Mike is a very talented shooter and a serious contender in any contest he enters. He has always used high quality holsters from Sparks, Ernie Hill, and others. If he has started turning out his own line of kydex holsters, you can be certain they will be well designed and made.

Hello Mike. Are you settled in yet. I saw your old e-mail address in your profile.
I have seen some of Mike's holsters in Kydex. They were first rate and worked well for those that had them. He was also making mag pouches when I last saw him a few weeks ago.
Mike is an excellent shot as well as a straight shooter, (honest, no b.s.)

but I'm not completly happy with the way they move around on the belt. So I haven't offered any yet.

Yesterday, during our weekly Paladin shooting session, Rick Miller and I both shot .380's. I shot my Mustang using my own milk-jug plastic and duct tape pocket holster. Rick shot his Colt Pony, using one of Mike Benedict's Talon Tactical kydex holsters.
The Tactical Talon holster is nicely designed and made. It held the pistol securely and allowed a smooth and quick draw. Personally, I don't have a need for a belt holster for this small of a pistol (if you've got on enough clothes to hide a belt-holstered Pony .380, then you've got on enough to hide a compact 9mm,.40, or .45). To me, the raison d'etre of pistols like the Pony is that they're small enough for pocket carry. However, Talon Tactical makes holsters for the bigger blasters too and, if this little Pony rig is typical, very nice ones.
