Just got a call from my bud Arvis (if you bought a gun in the range shack during a shoot, he's likely the guy you dealt with while filling out your paperwork).
He says the bridge is underwater, etc., and it isn't looking like it'll be better by next week.
And here's the e-mail that went out:
Well it finally happened, The shoot is cancelled due to flooding. We had a good run for over 30 years and never were caught with high water. There will not be a rain date as most have other plans and no other vacation days available. The next shoot will be October 10,11 and 12 of 2008. I am so sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you. Please pass this on to anyone you know that was planning to attend or might have reservations at one of the motels in the area so they can get a refund on their rooms.
