Kimber Ultra Ten?

Has anyone tried one of these pistols? Are they on the market yet?

I read the article in Handgunner about this pistol and it looks quite interesting.

Haven't seen one yet, but it sounds interesting. My only concerns are 1) one single source for magazines (that's why I haven't bought the plastic Wilson), 2) not much lighter that my Untra Carry, yet wider and thus harder to conceal.

I have been trying to get my hands on one, 4 dealers tell me they are already on backorder. I have 2 Kimbers now, can't wait to get my hands on the Ultra Ten II

What an ugly gun. And the thought of a double-stack 1911 makes me cringe.. I really don't need 3 more rounds that badly.

Now a 1911 in 10mm, Matt may have something.. but then again, that's basically just 45 super, right? :)
