Kershaw Blur

I've usually carried cheaper knives but decided that I wanted to try a quality knive. Something that will hold an edge a little longer. I was picking up a new shotgun Sunday at Bass Pro and seen the Kershaw Blur by Ken Onion. It was love at first sight. 74.99 plus tax well spent. Here it is next to my old Gerber Paraframe. The Gerber served me well but didn't hold an edge very long.

What steel did you get in the blade?

I believe it's a 440A stainless steel with a Tungsten DLC coating. Not sure what all that is but it's holding a good edge. I've cut a lot of stuff with it in the last few weeks and it still shaves hair. I missed a few shaving this week, was in a hurry to get to work. Someone pointed it out so I pulled out the Blur and took care of it.
