Kentucky Lifetime CCDW License

I was discussing this in another post and since no one seems to be aware that this bill is currently in the House, I figured I'd post the infomation since I haven't seen any media reports.

Let's hope Kentucky joins Indiana with a lifetime license option. I've subscribed for updates on the bill and will update as needed.

Amend KRS 237.110, relating to licenses to carry concealed deadly weapons, to provide for an optional lifetime license at an additional fee which is valid until the licensee dies or the license is suspended or revoked.

Great.

That will be great if it happens, and I don't see why it wouldn't. Kentucky has always struck me as a mostly gun-friendly state. I was originally born there (E-town) and still have family around, so it is great for me personally too.
Even though I'm not a constituent in their districts, emails to both sponsors will be on the way shortly.

Update: This bill was just passed to the floor for debate. This really could be a big step for CCDW across the USA.

Lifetime CCW License

Our Virginia legislature is in session, now.
If they fund it, to perform checks on CCW's we will have a lifetime CCW.
