Kel Tec P40

What are the opinions of those of you who have a Kel Tec P40?
Mine has done very well for about 500 rounds or so. Shoots to point of aim too...I have heard from some reports that mine may be a rare jewel. Also does anyone have any idea what kind of "service life" could be expected? Thanks for the input.

I don't have a P-40 but I've followed a couple of Kel-Tec forums for awhile. I have noticed that P-40s tend to have more problems than the P-11s. Not sure why, maybe it is the greater pressures & recoil from a more powerful round on such a small, light pistol.
Never heard of any service life issues or a # of rounds that they are good for. Since it has a lifetime warranty, it shouldn't be a concern.
