Kel-Tec in the PRK?

I have to travel to the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia for work for the next couple weeks, and I would feel like a sheep at the slaughter if I didn't bring at least one pistol for SD.

My list of PRK-legal guns is short.
I believe the Ruger GP100 is legal there, but it's a tank, and I'm an auto guy at heart.
Would it be legal for me to bring a Kel-Tec P11? Has no safety, and I don't think I could buy one in PRK, but would it be illegal for me to be in possession of one there?

Don't quote me, but if I recall correctly, kel-tec's are a no no in Cali.

So I'll either take the GP100 or get a 10-rounder for the P89 (which seems so wrong)

IIRC

the list covers guns that can be sold in California. If you move here with a firearm not on the list, but otherwise legal, you can keep it. But i'd check the law to be sure. I do know that CA does not recognize any other state's carry permit. The only legal way to carry a handgun in CA without a CA permit is in a locked container, unloaded, in your car.
