I recently purchased a K9 and I can say that Kahrs are a very smooth shooting firearm. I like the extra weight of a steel frame, and they are still very slim. The slide is less than in inch wide, and the grips stick out just enough to fill my hands (as opposed to the polymer series). I don't think you can go wrong with either though, but with the K series you don't really have to worry about it catching on something, so that would make the two even in that area as well. I'd like to get ahold of a 239 for comparison, but at the same time I am perfectly content with my K9.
