Well after coming down with a virus for the past few days, I finally started to feel good today and decided to get out of the house. I checked out a couple of shops that I hadn't had a chance to visit yet and ran across some Kimbers at the last one. They had a BNIB Kimber Compact Custom (non Series II). I checked it out and immediately loved it. I won't be able to make it to the range for several days but it feels fantastic. It's amazing how much smaller it feels the XD9 Service that was my carry gun. It even feels slightly lighter (need to check the weights to see if it's even possible). It feels much tighter than my Taurus did and I can't wait to get it to the range. Anyway, just had to share.
