Just bought a Kimber ........ kind of annoyed.

my 10 days is up and went to pick up my new Kimber Classic 300 win mag. when i purchased the gun, I ordered the scope (Leupold fx-III 6x42) Warne rings and bases. well the shop ordered the scope but no rings and bases, so i reluctantly bought the Kimber bases and Leupold rings that they had in stock. I get home and start to mount the scope ........ two of the screws are the wrong size for the mounting holes. kind of aggravating i bought Kimber brand bases for an 8400 and they have the wrong screws. i know its not a big deal just wanted to vent a little.

by the by the gun looks good just wish i could shoot it. maybe I'll post some pics if i ever get it together

i recently purchased mounts for my kimber. the old models had 6 32 screws. the newer ones have 8 32s. so the mounts the store had were old stock. fwiw bobn

life lesson learned........don't buy what you don't need

why not have the store get the correct products ASAP???
