Just bought a Burris C4 with wind reticle scope...

Not yet, but I have been thinking about trying the one calibrated for 30-06. I have an older FF-II that has impressed me. Let us know how it works, I may well order one soon if feedback is positive.

got the scope today... looks great, you go to Burris's website, & enter in your cartridge & location data...they send you back, a custom elevation dial, & custom "wind map" sticker that goes on the scope... they expect it to be very "on" considering they take into account the bullet weight & diameter, the ballistic co-efficient, the velocity, the sight height above the bore, the altitude, sight in distance, average humidity, average temperature, average barometric pressure... & the wind speed you want the "wind map" set up for...

I still need to get a little data on my load, from home, before I can complete, but really looking forward to trying this scope out, especially since this is going on a 17 Fireball :)
