Just a small quality 22 auto

I love my Kahr P380 but wonder why there is not a small quality made 22 auto? It just seems like it would sell good and be very popular. Small means smaller that Walther size to me.

There are a few,,,

The Bersa thunder 22 is about the same frame size as a Walther PPK,,,
I own and love mine but it's bigger than you are asking about.

There is the Beretta Bobcat.

The Taurus PT-22,,,
Essentially a close copy of the Beretta,,,
One of the Mods in this forum has one and says he likes his very much.

The Taurus 22-PLY,,,
This is the polymer framed version of their PT-22,,,
I own this pistol and it performs flawlessly for me using CCI MiniMags.

I liked mine so much I bought the .25 ACP version as well.

Hope this helps.

that KBI looks interesting, another Walther spinoff by the looks. to the OP, the Bersa is perhaps bigger than you wanted, but is still pretty small and compact. i recommend it because of its reliability. 10+1 capacity to boot.

I would NOT suggest a Taurus PT-22...Had a lot of trouble with mine (FTF,FTE) with all types of ammo. I'm about to send it back to the factory to fix a broken firing pin.

You know that the Ruger SR22 just came out. Its exactly the same size as the Walther P22 but reliable with all ammo.

It is already a huge hit. $300.

Smaller than that, Beretta and Taurus make them but they are not good for fun/extended shooting.
