For awhile I thought you believed it was a real article written by Carter. It would not be the first time so one mistook satire on this site. Now that would be funny if some thought this article was written by Carter. Anyway I find the many of the Onion's articles humorous, but this was not one of those articles. Probably because I have deep respect for Carter.

Forwardassist: I voted for the guy twice.
It's funny because of the juxtaposition of Carter's real way of speaking and what could be valid arguments about his energy and foreign policies.
The point being Cater probably has a right to tell everyone to kiss his behind.
