The dispute escalated all week. Hastert complained to Bush at least twice. He was joined Wednesday in rare agreement by his Democratic counterpart, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (news, bio, voting record) of California, in a statement demanding the FBI give back the material it seize

getting a tase of the Bush's administration and Mr. "its all legal" Gonzales medicine. Now they know how some of us feel about all this wiretapping.

Is the dispute over wiretaps over the wiretaps themselves, or that government entity X is doing them without government entity Y being involved? I don't recall seeing anyone trying to get rid of the wiretaps themselves, and as I understand they have occurred as long as there have been telephones.
